T.S.T. is headquartered in Volpiano, on the outskirts of Turin, in the heart of Piedmont’s industrial district. Founded on the vision of Sergio Barella, who built his own version of Silicon Valley starting from his home garage, driven by the same passion that inspires many innovators, T.S.T. has grown remarkably.

Originally established as an artisanal workshop specializing in screen printing and heat stamping, T.S.T. quickly evolved into injection molding technology, which today remains the company’s core business.

In 1982, Sergio Barella founded T.S.T. in his garage, launching an artisanal enterprise dedicated to screen printing and heat stamping.

Under Sergio Barella’s leadership, within a few years the company moved from the garage to its first proper production facility, opening the doors to a significant development phase.

Continued growth led T.S.T. to relocate to a larger building, meeting increased demand and supporting business expansion.

In 2003, T.S.T. inaugurated its mold-making workshop, an important strategic investment that enables the company to manage every stage of production in-house. This decision cemented T.S.T.’s ability to offer innovative, customized solutions and reinforced injection molding as its core business.

The introduction of the first twin-injection (2K) molding press in 2004 marked an expansion of the company’s technical capabilities, allowing for greater versatility in production.

With the installation of a centralized system for dehumidification and raw-material distribution, T.S.T. continued to expand and modernize its production technologies.

The addition of an ISO-7 certified cleanroom, compliant with UNI CEI EN ISO 13485 standards, enabled T.S.T. to enter the medical sector, ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness and quality.

In 2015, T.S.T. expanded its finished-products warehouse, optimizing logistics management and increasing storage capacity. This enhancement supports the company’s steadily growing production and improves delivery to clients.
